About Terrie Lynn Bittner
I discovered genealogy as a little girl. At that time, it just meant having people tell me stories about our long-ago family or even our current families.
As a teenager I began doing real genealogy. Unfortunately, I didn't know about documenting sources or verifying information, so early finds are not well-documented. Now I'm being good and fixing that.
I descend from ancestors in Ohio, the hills of Kentucky, North Carolina, Ireland, England, Germany, and a host of other places. Use the menu on the left to find a surname. When it gets too long, we'll use a site map.
When I'm not doing genealogy, I am an author with a homeschooling book out and a preschool at home book on the way. I am also a freelance writer with a company of my own: Family Friendly Content, which provides custom articles for your websites.
I love reading, history, mysteries, teaching, and playing with my dollhouse.
